Lithuania and PolandWe visited southern Lithuania and northeastern Poland to bird a week in late May 2004. 146 species were recorded. 129 in Lithuania and 101 in Poland. Birders in action were Arild Breistøl, Göran Högstedt and Frode Falkenberg.

MoroccoCould this be the perfect country for birding? At least it is one of my favorites. The gallery of selected bird pictures are from three trips to Morocco and Western Sahara in December 2005, April 2011, and February 2012.

GambiaI spent a week in January 2013 in Gambia together with a bunch Norwegian birders. It was wonderful, both in terms of birds, photography and nature. The birding was concentrated to the Western and Lower River regions, and I saw about 225 species of birds.

ThailandI spent three weeks in Thailand in the period 9. - 29. November in 1999. Most of the time I travelled together with a dozen other ecology students at the University of Bergen. 205 species were recorded.
